We are thrilled to announce the winners of our first Hales Heroes Quarterly Awards, celebrating the outstanding dedication and commitment of our exceptional care workers. These awards highlight the incredible contributions of our staff members, who are the heart and soul of our service at Hales Group.

The Hales Heroes Monthly Draw and Quarterly Awards are initiatives designed to recognise and reward the extraordinary efforts of our care staff. Each month, a team member from each branch can win 25 Care Friends Points in our Monthly Draw. These monthly winners are then nominated for the coveted Quarterly Awards, where they have the chance to win 250 Care Friends Points – that’s £250! Individuals can also win up to £1,000 each in our Annual Care Awards.

The selection process for the Quarterly Awards combines the initial nomination with online voting, where nominees gather engagement through likes, shares, and comments, and the overall endorsement of our esteemed panel. This multi-level process ensures that the most dedicated members of staff are recognised for their hard work.

After an exciting round of voting and panel deliberation, we are proud to announce the regional winners for Quarter 1:

South: Danielle Fairweather, Carer from the Ipswich branch

Midlands: Joshua Meeds, Carer from the Sheffield branch

North East: Dike Nwali, Carer from the Newcastle branch

North: Rismy Mohamed Rafeek, Carer from the Market Rasen branch

Yorkshire: Nicholas Jepson, Carer from the Rotherham branch

When asked about winning the Hales Heroes Quarterly Award, Dike stated: “It means a lot to win. You work hard, and it’s wonderful to be appreciated. Thank you so much, Hales.”

Molly Johnson, Registered Manager for the Northeast branch, shared: “Dike’s dedication to Hales and consistent high-quality care and compassion has been recognised and we, as a branch, are extremely happy and proud to promote the level of Care that Hales Northeast provides. Well Done, Dike!”

Message from Nicola Mewse, Hales Group Managing Director:

I am incredibly proud of all our Hales Heroes for their professional dedication and the exceptional care they provide. Congratulations to our first Quarterly Awards winners. Your hard work and commitment are truly inspiring, and you are shining stars of the Hales Group values.

Stay tuned for the next round of the Hales Heroes Monthly Draw and Quarterly Awards!
